As we celebrate the 100th anniversary......of the laying of the cornerstone of our Pierson Street Church, the Most Reverend David J. Malloy, Bishop of the Diocese of Rockford, celebrated a special Mass with us.We encourage you to watch it and, if you have the opportunity, to visit the Pierson Street Church, too.A beautiful Mass, the Bishop's blessing of the newly renovated facade of the building, and a celebration in the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School cafeteria gave our faith community an opportunity to both gather at the table of the Eucharist and celebrate the abundant graces that have grown from the many pastors, vicars, sisters, deacons, and lay people who plant seeds of faith.Keep checking back as we revisit this special day throughout the coming weeks!
