Mission Statement...We are a Catholic family, living our awareness of Christ’s presence through worship, service, evangelization and community for the benefit of all.
Fr. Charles Fitzpatrick is the third of five children born to Bill and Eileen Fitzpatrick, both of whom have since gone to the Lord. He grew up and lived most of his childhood and young adulthood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. All but one of his three brothers and one sister still live in the old neighborhood. He attended Catholic grade school and high school. He graduated college from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He worked as a clerk in the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy court in Chicago for a couple years after college. He tended bar after that for a brief period. Next, he toiled as a legal assistant with a stint in graduate school for exercise physiology. Most of his career was spent as an Adult Probation Officer for Cook County, Illinois. He did not hear the call of Priesthood until after retiring early from the Probations Department. Like most guys who are called, he wrestled with it for several years, but the call kept getting stronger and more frequent. Eventually, six years after his retirement, he entered St. Paul Seminary in 2010. He was ordained to the priesthood at St. Peter's Cathedral on June 4, 2016.
